Well here's a few

Oh and in true Twitter style they are all 140 characters or less.

1.Instead of always using text. Add a link to a photo of what you are talking about. Can be far more interesting.
2.Killer headline shortened link total characters under 120 this is the recipe for getting more retweets
3.Just because you can use 140 characters does not mean you have to
4.If you like to give short tips on a subject each day, instead of writing them, try 12seconds.tv which are short videos & then send
5.If you like to use Video, then try twitvid.io as a great way to record stuff & send out via Twitter
6. Twitter is where your customers hang out, find them & start a conversation.
7. Twitter is real people talking about real stuff right now & in real time
8. If you want the latest breaking news search on Twitter simple as that
9. Want to share photos on Twitter? then twitpic.com is a simple to use & fab.
10. Did you know with tweepsearch.com you can find followers based on keywords in their Bios
11.Twitter is not a substitute for meet ups and talking to people. That’s where you really get to build a relationship

12.When retweeting a message, add a personal validation. builds up your brand & credibility.
13.Use Twitoria.com to remove peeps that have not tweeted for ages..
14.Use Twitter to find conversations & then listen, add value & then engage if you can..
15.Did you know that with tweetdeck , you can post directly to your facebook account as well…
16.If like me you are not great at writing but you can talk all day about your expertise then you must check out www.Ipadio.com
17.Before you retweet a Link, make sure you check it out first. Its your brand that will be damaged if the link is unsavory
18.Get yourself a twitter test account so that you can test new twitter services before using your main account

Thanks for the heads up, some useful Twitter information.

Here's my own added;

* Use TweetAttacks to automatically add people in your niche, just use the search button to find relevant people. Be careful setting this off all day though, Twitter will ban you if it thinks you're spamming... I would say adding 200 people a day is probably healthy and not too OTT.
* After a few days when I've added these new people I then use a site called justunfollow.com, you can unfollow 50 people a day who do not follow you, this makes room to then add more people who MAY add you.
* Use Socialoomph.com (free trial), add your Twitter account and you can schedule Twitter updates. For eg, this weekend I set up 4 statuses because I knew I wouldn't be back into work until Monday morning but that a high amount of my potential customers will mostly use Twitter in this time period.
* You can also use Socialoomph.com for other Twitter elements such as; sending automated DM's (but be careful as most people hate this, so change them often, I also think you need to be premium to do this), you can also write an extended Twitter profile, and send out automatic DM's whenever someone follows you (this is included in the free trial).

I think that's all I've learnt Twitter-wise thus far!

Cheers
Sarah
